I’m Mara

I grew up in the American South with a horse obsession and way too many Thoroughbred and Saddle Club books. Horse racing is my first great love, but for the past several years I’ve ridden dressage, learning how to spiral in, half halt, and perform the perfect figure eight.


My books feature horses front and center, celebrating horse girls and their wild, obsessive love for equestrian life.
